DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
MICHAEL CAMFIELD Michael Camfield is a summa cum
laude graduate of Oklahoma City University, where he earned a BA in Speech
and Theatre. He has been employed as development director for the ACLU of
Oklahoma since 1993. His duties include coordinating fund raising, public
education and membership services. He also assists with litigation and
legislative efforts. Prior to being hired by the Oklahoma ACLU, he had
participated as a volunteer with the organization since 1984. He was the
plaintiff in Camfield v. The City of Oklahoma City, the ACLU case concerning
The Tin Drum.
In addition to his professional interests, Camfield is a musician, writer,
actor, director, and visual artist. He lives in Oklahoma City, where he
performs with several local bands and serves on the Individual Artists of
Oklahoma Board of Directors. |
