Jill Webb has devoted her legal career to the practice of criminal defense and civil rights. She worked for 6 years with the Tulsa County Public Defender’s Office, first as a felony trial attorney and then in a leadership position studying the systemic effects of the justice system on the poor. In private practice, Ms. Webb was a member of the Oklahoma Northern District Criminal Justice Acts Panel. She has conducted over 20 jury trials including defending several people charged with first degree murder. More recently, Ms. Webb filed a class action lawsuit to end the widespread practice of debtors' prison in Oklahoma. Jill graduated from Chicago Kent College of Law in 2006. Before becoming an attorney, she was a high school English teacher and served in the United States Peace Corps.
