The City of Oklahoma City passed an ordinance aimed at curbing panhandling on city medians, but which is very overbroad, infringing on a wide variety of free speech. We filed a federal court challenge on behalf of seven plaintiffs who include individuals, a political party, and media outlet. We defeated a Motion to Dismiss aimed at removing OCPD Chief Bill Citty from the lawsuit and filed our own Motion for Summary Judgment on October 3rd, 2017.
