The goal of this program is to provide students with a place to meet other young advocates, connect with community leaders, and learn new skills and information that will allow them to be better advocates in their schools and communities. The purpose of this first meeting is for students to get to know each other and meet community organizing leaders in OKC. Students will also have a chance to brainstorm ideas on how to approach pressing issues in their communities.

A Voter Registration Event and Community Training! This training facilitated by Dream Action Oklahoma will give you a breakdown of the authoritarian playbook, and help prepare you to make sense of the nonsense by sharing your power and tools to make a difference in your community. ACLU-OK will also provide free voting resources and voter registration.

Every Oklahoman must ask themselves not whether they support the death penalty, but rather: Do I trust the government with the power to kill its citizens—especially after catastrophic failures in the recent past? Oklahoma's criminal legal system has failed to protect the innocent, those with serious mental health conditions, and individuals who have suffered adverse childhoods from execution. Join the ACLU of Oklahoma as we march in the Tulsa Pride Parade! As you know, the work of the ACLU is now more critical than ever, and we want this year's parade group to be the biggest yet! Please complete the registration form to march with us on Saturday, October 17th, and we will be in contact with further details.

This virtual meeting is open to students across the state of Oklahoma.
