Education Equity Town Hall

August 26, 2025 @ 6:30 pm 7:30 pm

Public education funding is on the line. Nearly all students, particularly those from low income communities and students with disabilities, could lose access to programs like Head Start, literacy programs for K-12 students, school based mental health services, and other key federal programs and support.

Representative Tom Cole, Chair of the House Appropriations Committee, has the power to stop these funding cuts and ensure students in OK and across the country have access to the resources they need. August recess is an opportunity to call on him to take action to protect Oklahomans.

RSVP and join us on Tuesday, August 26th at 6 PM in Moore, OK to hear from the ACLU of Oklahoma, impacted community members, and local partners. Join us to collectively let Rep. Cole know: No cuts to public education! Protect equal access to educational opportunities now!

Notice of Accessibility: The ACLU strives to create inclusive and accessible events that enable all individuals to fully engage with its programming. If you need accommodations to be able to fully participate in this event, please contact info@peoplepower.org.
