Virtual Advocacy Day

February 19, 2022 @ 11:00 am 4:30 pm

Recognizing that we are still living in a pandemic, the ACLU of Oklahoma will be bringing our annual Advocacy Day to your computer screen! Join the ACLU of OK at our 22’ Virtual Advocacy Day on Saturday, February 19th from 11am to 4:30pm via ZOOM!

This year we will focus on our supporters’ and members’ accessibility to the legislative process, advocacy tools and skills, and policy knowledge. During the Virtual Advocacy Day, you will learn about the OK Legislative Process and have the chance to attend any or all of our three sessions and trainings on the following three policy topics: Reproductive Freedom, Classroom Censorship, and 2SLGBTQ+.

In these sessions we will dive deep into the three policy priorities of the ACLU-OK and identify the most harmful bills to Oklahomans that have been introduced. Every session will be accompanied by an advocacy training. These training courses will provide new skills and tools, specific to the policy topic. All to use to advocate at the legislature and hold our elected officials accountable.
